INGREDIENTS

1 cup chunky applesauce
1/2 cup canned tart cherries, drained
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

PREPARATION:

  1. Combine all ingredients in small saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes. Serve warm.
