Apple Cinnamon Chunkies
Makes 2 dozen cookies
|1||package (18 ounces) refrigerated oatmeal raisin cookie dough|
|1||cup chopped dried apples|
|1/2||cup cinnamon baking chips|
|1/2||teaspoon apple pie spice*|
*You may substitute 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg and pinch of ground allspice or ground cloves for 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease cookie sheets. Let dough stand at room temperature about 15 minutes.
- Combine dough, apples, cinnamon chips and apple pie spice in large bowl; stir until well blended. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on cookie sheets 2 to 3 minutes. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
