Apricot Holiday Bread

Makes 1 (1-1/2-pound) loaf (12 to 16 servings)
|2||tablespoons butter, softened|
|3||cups all-purpose flour|
|1/2||cup pecan or walnut pieces|
|1/2||cup dried apricots or peaches, chopped|
|1/4||teaspoon ground ginger|
|1/4||teaspoon ground nutmeg|
|1||tablespoon active dry yeast|
- Measuring carefully, place all ingredients in bread machine pan in order specified by owner's manual.
- Program basic or white cycle and desired crust setting; press start. (Do not use delay cycle.) Remove baked bread from pan; cool on wire rack.
