Avocado Relish

Makes about 2-1/4 cups


1 large, firm, ripe avocado, finely diced
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
3/4 cup finely chopped, seeded tomato
1/2 cup minced green onions
1/3 cup minced fresh cilantro
1/2 to 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce


  1. Combine avocado and lime juice in bowl; toss. Add tomato, onions, cilantro and hot sauce; toss gently. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour. Serve at room temperature.
