Yield: Makes about 1-1/2 cups
Ingredients:
1
large ripe avocado, coarsely chopped

1
large tomato, seeded and diced

3
tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

1
tablespoon vegetable oil

1
tablespoon fresh lime juice

2
teaspoons seeded and minced jalapeño pepper*

1
clove garlic, minced

1/2
teaspoon salt


*Jalapeño peppers can sting and irritate the skin, so wear rubber gloves when handling peppers and do not touch your eyes.

 
Preparation:

Place avocado in medium bowl.

Gently stir in tomato, cilantro, oil, lime juice, jalapeño, garlic and salt until well combined. Let stand at room temperature while grilling steak. Cover and refrigerate if preparing in advance. Bring to room temperature before serving.
