BLT Sirloin Steaks
YIELD Makes 4 servings

INGREDIENTS
| 1 | teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper |
| 1 | pound sirloin steak, cut into 4 serving pieces |
| Nonstick cooking spray | |
| 2 | medium tomatoes, cored and cut into 4 slices each |
| 4 | ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into 4 slices |
| 8 | fresh basil leaves |
| 2 | to 4 tablespoons bacon bits |
| 4 | teaspoons olive oil |
| 2 | tablespoons balsamic vinegar |
PREPARATION:
- Sprinkle pepper on each side of steaks (1/8 teaspoon per side). Spray a medium nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak and cook for 4 to 6 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Place steaks on individual plates or on a serving platter.
- Layer tomato slices, mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil leaves on top of steak. Sprinkle bacon bits on top. Drizzle 1 teaspoon olive oil and 1/2 teaspoon balsamic vinegar over each "stack".
