Blueberry-Spice Syrup
YIELD Makes 1 cup

INGREDIENTS
| 1/2 | cup blueberries, divided |
| 1/2 | cup maple syrup, divided |
| 1/2 | teaspoon grated lemon peel |
| 1/2 | teaspoon ground cinnamon |
| 1/4 | teaspoon ground nutmeg |
PREPARATION:
- Bring 1/4 cup blueberries and 1/4 cup syrup to a boil in small saucepan over medium heat. Mash hot berries with fork. Add remaining 1/4 cup blueberries and 1/4 cup syrup, lemon peel, cinnamon and nutmeg. Cook and stir over medium heat about 2 minutes or until heated through.
