Bourbon Balls

Yield: Makes 30 balls
Ingredients:
1
cup powdered sugar
2
tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2
cups finely crushed vanilla wafers (about 44 wafers)
1
cup finely chopped walnuts
1/4
cup bourbon
3
tablespoons corn syrup
Additional sifted powdered sugar for rolling
Preparation:

Sift 1 cup powdered sugar and cocoa into medium bowl. Add crushed vanilla wafers and walnuts. Stir bourbon and corn syrup into crumb mixture. Refrigerate until firm enough to shape into balls, about 30 minutes.

Shape scant 1 tablespoonful of the mixture into 1-inch balls.
3.
Store in refrigerator in airtight container for 2 to 3 days. Before serving, roll in additional powdered sugar.
