INGREDIENTS
| 1‑1/2 | quarts (6 cups) cranapple juice cocktail |
| 1 | small orange, thinly sliced |
| 1/4 | cup firmly packed light brown sugar |
| 3 | cinnamon sticks |
| 12 | whole cloves |
| 1 | cup brandy or cognac |
PREPARATION:
- Combine all ingredients except brandy in a large saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and add brandy. Ladle into mugs, leaving cinnamon sticks and cloves in saucepan; garnish with sliced oranges if desired.
Tip
Punch may be prepared in a crockpot. Combine all ingredients except brandy in a large crockpot; cover and turn heat to high until punch is very hot, about 1 hour. Stir in brandy; turn heat to low. Punch may be kept warm and served from crockpot up to 2 hours.
