Broccoli in Cheese Sauce
Makes 6 servings
|1||bag (16 ounces) frozen broccoli florets|
|1||sheet (24X12 inches) heavy-duty foil, lightly sprayed with nonstick cooking spray|
|1||can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed Cheddar cheese soup|
|1||medium red or yellow bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces|
|1/4||cup chopped onion|
|1-1/2||teaspoons Worcestershire sauce|
|1/8||teaspoon black pepper|
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Place frozen broccoli in center of sheet of foil. Fold foil up around broccoli to create pan.
- Combine soup, bell pepper, onion, milk, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper in medium bowl; stir to blend. Pour over broccoli.
- Double fold sides and ends of foil to seal packet, leaving head space for heat circulation. Place packet on baking sheet.
- Bake 25 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Remove from oven. Carefully open one end of packet to allow steam to escape. Open packet and transfer broccoli mixture to serving bowl.
