Broccoli is not only low in calories, but high in nutrition as well. One cup has all the vitamin A and twice the vitamin C you need each day.
INGREDIENTS
| 2 | packages (10 ounces) frozen chopped broccoli |
| 1 | cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth |
| 2 | tablespoons reduced-fat mayonnaise |
| 2 | teaspoons dried minced onion (optional) |
PREPARATION:
- Combine broccoli, chicken broth, mayonnaise and onion, if desired in large saucepan. Simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, until broccoli is tender.
- Uncover; continue to simmer, stirring occasionally, until liquid has evaporated.
