Butter Cookie Dough


Ingredients

3/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  1. Combine butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and egg yolk in medium bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add flour, baking powder and salt; beat just until blended.
  2. Cover; refrigerate about 4 hours or until firm.
