Celebration Cheese Ball

Yield

Makes about 2-1/2 cups spread

Ingredients

2 packages (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons finely chopped carrot
1 tablespoon finely chopped red onion
1-1/2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Assorted crackers and breadsticks

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients except pecans and crackers in medium bowl. Cover and refrigerate until firm.
  2. Shape cheese mixture into a ball; roll in pecans. Wrap cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Serve with assorted crackers and breadsticks.
