Chocolate Chip Macaroons

YIELD Makes about 3-1/2 dozen cookies

INGREDIENTS

2‑1/2 cups flaked coconut
2/3 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

PREPARATION:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease cookie sheets. Combine coconut, chocolate chips, milk and vanilla in medium bowl; mix until well blended.
  2. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets. Press dough gently with back of spoon to flatten slightly. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown. Let cookies stand on cookie sheets 1 minute. Remove cookies to wire racks; cool completely.
