Chocolate Peanut Butter Fondue
Yield: Makes 8 servings
A delightful mixture of cocoa, milk and peanut butter! Feel free to substitute any of your favorite fresh fruits for dipping.
Ingredients:
1/3
cup sugar

1/3
cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/3
cup low-fat (1%) milk

tablespoons light corn syrup

tablespoons reduced-fat peanut butter

1/2
teaspoon vanilla

medium apples, cored and sliced

medium bananas, cut into 1-inch pieces

large strawberries



 
Preparation:
1.
Combine sugar, cocoa, milk, corn syrup and peanut butter in medium saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until hot. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.

Pour fondue into medium serving bowl; serve warm or at room temperature with fruit for dipping.


Tip Kids will enjoy eating fruit with this fondue! Mix and match various types. Orange sections, pear slices and fresh raspberries are just a few of the many other kids of fruit you can serve with this sweet chocolate treat.
