Chunky Sweet Spiced Apple Butter

INGREDIENTS
| 4 | cups (about 1-1/4 pounds) peeled, chopped Granny Smith apples |
| 3/4 | cup packed dark brown sugar |
| 2 | tablespoons balsamic vinegar |
| 1/4 | cup (1/2 stick) butter, divided |
| 1 | tablespoon ground cinnamon |
| 1/2 | teaspoon salt |
| 1/4 | teaspoon ground cloves |
| 1‑1/2 | teaspoons vanilla |
PREPARATION:
Slow Cooker Directions
- Combine apples, brown sugar, vinegar, 2 tablespoons butter, cinnamon, salt and cloves in 1-1/2-quart slow cooker. Cover; cook on LOW 8 hours.
- Stir in remaining 2 tablespoons butter and vanilla. Cool completely.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with roasted meats or spread on toast.
