More healthful than fat-laden chips, this spicy-sweet snack mix is sure to be a lunch box favorite for kids and adults alike.
INGREDIENTS
| 2 | cups corn cereal squares |
| 2 | cups whole wheat cereal squares or whole wheat cereal squares with mini graham crackers |
| 1‑1/2 | cups fat-free oyster crackers |
| 1/2 | cup broken sesame snack sticks |
| 2 | tablespoons butter, melted |
| 1 | teaspoon ground cinnamon |
| 1/4 | teaspoon ground nutmeg |
| 1/2 | cup bite-size fruit-flavored candy pieces |
PREPARATION:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 13X9-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place cereals, oyster crackers and sesame sticks in prepared pan; mix lightly.
- Combine butter, cinnamon and nutmeg in small bowl; mix well. Drizzle evenly over cereal mixture; toss to coat.
- Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown, stirring gently after 6 minutes. Cool completely. Stir in candies.
