Cinnamon Trail Mix
Yield: Makes 8 (3/4-cup) servings
More healthful than fat-laden chips, this spicy-sweet snack mix is sure to be a lunch box favorite for kids and adults alike.
Ingredients:

cups corn cereal squares
2
cups whole wheat cereal squares or whole wheat cereal squares with mini graham crackers
1-1/2
cups fat-free oyster crackers
1/2
cup broken sesame snack sticks
2
tablespoons butter, melted
1
teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4
teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2
cup bite-size fruit-flavored candy pieces
Preparation:
1.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 13X9-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
2.
Place cereals, oyster crackers and sesame sticks in prepared pan; mix lightly.
3.
Combine butter, cinnamon and nutmeg in small bowl; mix well. Drizzle evenly over cereal mixture; toss to coat.
4.
Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown, stirring gently after 6 minutes. Cool completely. Stir in candies.
