INGREDIENTS
| Nonstick cooking spray | |
| 8 | ounces turkey kielbasa sausage, cut into 1/8-inch rounds |
| 1 | cup chopped onion |
| 3/4 | cup chopped green bell pepper |
| 1/2 | cup finely chopped celery |
| 1 | can (16 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained |
| 1/2 | cup uncooked orzo pasta |
| 1/3 | cup water |
| 1/2 | teaspoon dried thyme leaves |
| 2 | teaspoons olive oil |
| Hot pepper sauce | |
PREPARATION:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray large nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Heat over high heat until hot. Add sausage; cook and stir 10 to 15 minutes or until sausage is brown. Add onion, pepper and celery; cook an additional 3 minutes.
- Spoon into 1-1/2-quart casserole. Add tomatoes, orzo, water and thyme; cover. Bake 1 hour, stirring after 30 minutes, or until heated through. Add olive oil; stir to combine. Let stand, covered, 10 minutes before serving. Serve with hot pepper sauce.
