Paula Abdul had Bulimia and checked herself into a clinic for help in 1994. Kelly Clarkson had Bulimia and didn't face her problem until friends forced her to. Princess Diana, Sally Field, Jane Fonda, Geri Halliwell, Elton John, Katherine McPhee, Alanis Morissette, Sharon Osbourne, and plenty of other celebrities make the cut for my list of 'Famous People Who Have Struggled With Bulimia". These are the brave people who had the strength to speak out about their disorder and many of them did so hoping to help fans with the same problem. But just imagine all of those people out there who haven't ever spoken out and don't necessarily have 'fans'.

Thanks to a photo-shopped body-image our culture upholds, obtaining the perfect form is a rat race that often ends in self-destruction. The emotional and health repercussions that come alongside an eating disorder like Bulimia are scary. But there's nothing green about Bulimia. Unlike anorexia (not endorsing anorexia), bulimia involves eating—a lot. Bulimics binge-eat, often consuming over 3,000 calories in one sitting. And then they purge.

Of course this is terrible for the sufferers of the disorder, but it's terrible for the environment, as well:
