Obesity is out of control in the U.S. Three out of four Americans are projected to be overweight or obese within 10 years. Before 1980, only one in ten Americans was overweight. Even worse, with childhood obesity, it's about to spread to the next generation. In fact, 80 percent of those who were overweight as children between the ages of 10 and 15 go on to become obese adults by age 25. And with obesity comes diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and other weight-related illnesses.
