Makes 4 servings
|1/2||pound bulk Italian sausage|
|1||cup uncooked long grain rice|
|1||large onion, finely chopped|
|1||large green bell pepper, finely chopped|
|1/2||cup finely chopped celery|
|1/2||teaspoon ground red pepper|
|1/2||cup chopped fresh parsley|
- Brown sausage in skillet 6 to 8 minutes over medium-high heat, stirring to break up meat. Drain fat. Place sausage into slow cooker.
- Stir in all remaining ingredients except parsley. Cover; cook on LOW 2 hours. Stir in parsley.
