Emeril's Angel Hair Pasta With Herbs

YIELD 4 main course servings or 6 to 8 side servings

INGREDIENTS

2 teaspoons salt
1 pound angel hair pasta
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1/4 cup chopped basil
2 tablespoons olive oil
Freshly ground black pepper
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

PREPARATION:

  1. To a large pot of boiling water, add salt. Add pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain well and add to a large bowl. Add herbs and oil and toss well to combine, adding pepper to taste. Garnish with Parmesan and serve immediately.
