Emeril's Asian Style Ribs

YIELD 4 servings

INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons Chinese Five Spice Powder
1 tablespoon salt
2 slabs St Louis Style or Baby Back Ribs
¼ cup Hoisin Sauce

PREPARATION:

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. Rub five-spice powder and salt into the ribs.
  3. Wrap ribs in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake in a 300 degree oven for 2 ½ hours. After 1 ½ hours, unwrap foil and slather ribs
  5. with hoisin sauce. Place ribs back into the oven and continue baking an additional ½
  6. hour or until sauce makes a crispy barbecue glaze and the meat is fall-off-the-bone tender.
