Emeril's Cranberry Merlot Sauce
INGREDIENTS
| 2 cups | cranberries |
| 1 cup | raspberry merlot, or other fruity wine |
| 1/2 cup | red onion, finely chopped |
| 1/2 cup | superfine sugar |
| 1/2 cup | chicken stock |
| 1 | orange, juiced and zested |
PREPARATION:
Method
- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, or until cranberries have broken down and the sauce thickens.
