Emeril's Crisp Topping
YIELD 3 cups
INGREDIENTS
| 6 | tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces |
| 2/3 | cup all purpose flour |
| 2/3 | cup rolled oats |
| 1/2 | cup light brown sugar |
| 1/4 | cup dark brown sugar |
| 1 | teaspoon cinnamon |
| 1/2 | teaspoon nutmeg |
| 1/4 | teaspoon salt |
PREPARATION:
- In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle, combine all ingredients and process on low speed until mixture is crumbly and coarse. Use as a topping for baked goods.
