Emeril's Garlic Bread
YIELD 24 servings
INGREDIENTS
| 16 | large garlic cloves |
| 1 cup | olive oil |
| 1 cup | unsalted butter, melted (4 tablespoons) |
| 1/4 cup | finely chopped parsley |
| 1/2 teaspoon | salt |
| 1/2 teaspoon | freshly ground black pepper |
| 4 | French baguette, halved and cut into 3 to 4-inch lengths |
PREPARATION:
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Mince the garlic in a food processor, wiping down the sides with a spatula, if necessary. Add the olive oil, butter, parsley, salt and pepper and process until well-combined.
- Spread the bread pieces onto a sheet pan. Using a basting brush, generously pat each piece of bread with a liberal amount of the garlic-butter. Transfer to the oven and cook until lightly golden brown, 15 minutes.
