Emeril's Green Beans With Pork And Garlic
YIELD 4 servings
INGREDIENTS
| 2 tablespoons | vegetable oil |
| 6 ounces | ground pork |
| 1 pound | Chinese long beans, stem ends trimmed, cut into 3-inch lengths |
| 1 tablespoon | minced garlic |
| 1 tablespoon | ginger |
| 1 teaspoon | sesame oil |
| 2 tablespoons | low sodium soy sauce |
| ½ cup | chicken stock |
| 2 tablespoons | hoisin sauce |
PREPARATION:
Method
- In a large saute pan or skillet, heat the oil over high heat. Add the pork and stirring constantly, cook until brown, 1 to 2 minutes. Add the beans and stir fry about 2 minutes. Add the garlic, ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, and chicken stock. Cover and steam beans for 10 minutes.
- Remove lid and add hoisin sauce. Stir to coat, and cook for 1 minute.
- Remove from the heat and serve immediately.
