Emeril's Marinated Flank Steak
YIELD 4 servings
INGREDIENTS
| 1 | flank steak (1 1/4 pound) |
| Creole seasoning | |
| 1/4 cup | olive oil |
| 1 tablespoon | Worcestershire sauce |
| Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
PREPARATION:
Method
- Season the flank steak with the Creole seasoning on both sides. Place in a gallon sized sealable plastic bag, along with the olive oil and Worcestershire sauce. Marinate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the broiler or grill to medium-high. Season the steak on both sides with kosher salt and pepper. Broil or grill the steak on both sides for 6 minutes. Remove and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
- Thinly slice steak against the grain and fan out on a serving platter. Serve immediately.
