Emeril's Rose Sangria

YIELD 10 to 12 servings

INGREDIENTS

2 Bottles rose wine
1/2 cup Spanish brandy
1/2 cup Spanish orange liqueur, Grande
Marnier, or Triple sec
Juice of 1 orange
1/2 cup simple syrup or flavored simple
syrup such as tarragon
1 1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries
orange, sliced into thin rounds and halved
lemon, thinly sliced and halved
1 bottle club soda, chilled
(750 ml)(10 ounce)

PREPARATION:

  1. Combine the wine, brandy, orange liqueur, orange juice, and simply syrup in a large pitcher and stir until all ingredients are mixed. Add the remaining fruit and stir well to combine. Cover and refrigerate until well chilled, about 2 hours. Stir in the club soda and serve the sangria in large wine glasses, over ice if desired.
