Emeril's Spinach Saute With Garlic And Onions
YIELD 2 servings
INGREDIENTS
| 2 tablespoons | olive oil |
| 1 small | white onion, chopped |
| 2 | cloves garlic, smashed |
| 1 pound | baby spinach, washed and rinsed |
| Salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
| 2 teaspoons | soy sauce |
PREPARATION:
- In a large sauté pan over medium heat, add the olive oil. When the oil begins to shimmer, add the onions and garlic and cook until they begin to become soft, about 3 minutes. Next add the spinach in 2 additions, seasoning each with salt and pepper. Once all of the spinach has been added, sprinkle with the soy sauce and turn off the heat.
Serve immediately.
