Family-Style Beef Pizza

Ingredients:

package (13.8 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough
1/4
pound 95% lean ground beef
3
tablespoons finely chopped onion
1
small tomato, peeled, seeded, and chopped
2
teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
1/8
teaspoon ground red pepper
1/2
cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1
cup (4 ounces) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1
tablespoon finely shredded Parmesan cheese
Preparation:

Preheat oven to 425°F. Lightly spray 12-inch pizza pan with nonstick cooking spray. Unroll pizza dough; press onto prepared pan. Build up edges slightly. Use fork to generously prick dough. Bake 7 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

Meanwhile, brown ground beef with onion in large skillet. Drain. Set aside.

Cook and stir pizza sauce, tomato, Italian seasoning, garlic, cumin and red pepper in small saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, about 8 minutes or until of desired consistency.

Spread tomato mixture over evenly pizza crust. Sprinkle with ground beef mixture and mushrooms. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Return to oven. Bake 5 to 8 minutes or until heated through.
