INGREDIENTS
| 1 | package (13.8 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough |
| 1/4 | pound 95% lean ground beef |
| 3 | tablespoons finely chopped onion |
| 3/4 | cup pizza sauce |
| 1 | small tomato, peeled, seeded, and chopped |
| 2 | teaspoons dried Italian seasoning |
| 2 | cloves garlic, minced |
| 1/8 | teaspoon ground red pepper |
| 1/2 | cup sliced fresh mushrooms |
| 1 | cup (4 ounces) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese |
| 1 | tablespoon finely shredded Parmesan cheese |
PREPARATION:
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Lightly spray 12-inch pizza pan with nonstick cooking spray. Unroll pizza dough; press onto prepared pan. Build up edges slightly. Use fork to generously prick dough. Bake 7 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Meanwhile, brown ground beef with onion in large skillet. Drain. Set aside.
- Cook and stir pizza sauce, tomato, Italian seasoning, garlic, cumin and red pepper in small saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, about 8 minutes or until of desired consistency.
- Spread tomato mixture over evenly pizza crust. Sprinkle with ground beef mixture and mushrooms. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Return to oven. Bake 5 to 8 minutes or until heated through.
