A sprinkling of cinnamon-sugar adds just the right touch of spicy sweetness to this in-a-minute snack.

INGREDIENTS

4 slices raisin bread
1/3 cup reduced-fat cream cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped unpeeled apple
1 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

PREPARATION:

  1. Toast bread. Cut into desired shapes using large cookie cutters.
  2. Combine cream cheese and apple in small bowl; spread onto toast.
  3. Combine sugar and cinnamon in another small bowl; sprinkle evenly over cream cheese mixture.
Cook's Tip
Get out the cookie cutters any time of the year for this fun treat. Or, create your own fun shapes–be sure to have an adult cut out your requested shape with a serrated knife for best results.
