We want to be the perfect parent, spouse, employee, and friend. We do everything we can for everyone else and in the end, there's just no time left for ourselves. Turns out, for busy moms in a British study, this is all too common.

According to the Telegraph, busy British moms get just 26 minutes on average to themselves each day.

"The survey of 1,000 mothers was undertaken for Procter and Gamble, the household products company, jointly with the Social Issues Research Centre (SIRC). It found that 56 percent of mothers felt they had either the same amount of free time as their own mothers or even less."

The time that's been created with new technologies such as dishwashers, washing machines, and kitchen gadgets now goes into outside employment. Moms are left trying to balance it all while still being loving parents. According to the article, "[m]ore mothers thought that they now spent greater amount of time with their children compared with their own mothers, with 48 percent saying they spent more time, and just 19 percent saying they spent less time."
