Franklins Favorite Apple Pie

INGREDIENTS
| 1/4 | cup sugar |
| 3 | tablespoons all-purpose flour |
| 1/4 | teaspoon ground cinnamon |
| 1/4 | teaspoon ground nutmeg |
| 4 | large Red Delicious apples, cored, peeled and sliced |
| 2 | tablespoons butter, melted |
| 1 | teaspoon vanilla |
| 1 | refrigerated folded pie crust (from a 15-ounce package) |
| Nonstick cooking spray | |
PREPARATION:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg in large bowl; mix well. Add apples and toss to coat evenly.
- Pour apple mixture into 9-inch pie plate. Combine butter and vanilla in small bowl and pour over apples. Cover apples with crust, seal edges and flute, if desired.
- Lightly coat crust with cooking spray and bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until crust is golden and apples are tender.
