Fresh Fruit with Honeyed Mascarpone

INGREDIENTS
| 1 | cup mascarpone |
| 2 | tablespoons dark honey, plus extra |
| 1 | teaspoon vanilla extract |
| 2‑3 | tablespoons whipping cream |
| 4‑5 | cups approximately of ripe seasonal fruit -- one or many -- suggestions: sliced figs, sliced persimmon, sliced pear, sliced apricot, sliced plum, sliced peach |
| 1/4 | cup chopped toasted hazelnuts |
PREPARATION:
- In a bowl, whisk together the mascarpone, honey, vanilla. Stir in cream to desired consistency.
- Plate fruit, garnish with dollops of cream, fine drizzle honey, chopped nuts.
