|3||medium plum tomatoes, seeded and chopped|
|2||tablespoons chopped onion|
|1||small jalapeño pepper,* seeded and minced|
|1||tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro|
|1||tablespoon lime juice|
|1/8||teaspoon black pepper|
*Jalapeño peppers can sting and irritate the skin, so wear rubber gloves when handling peppers and do not touch your eyes.
- Stir together all ingredients. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
