INGREDIENTS

1 medium tomato, finely chopped
1/4 cup coarsely chopped fresh cilantro
2 tablespoons finely chopped white onion
1 fresh jalapeño pepper,* seeded and finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
*Jalapeño peppers can sting and irritate the skin, so wear rubber gloves when handling peppers and do not touch your eyes.

PREPARATION:

  1. Combine all ingredients in small bowl; mix well. Let stand, covered, at room temperature 1 to 2 hours to blend flavors.
