Yield: Makes about 3/4 cup
Ingredients:

medium tomato, finely chopped

1/4
cup coarsely chopped fresh cilantro

tablespoons finely chopped white onion

fresh jalapeño pepper,* seeded, minced

1
tablespoon fresh lime juice


*Jalapeño peppers can sting and irritate the skin, so wear rubber gloves when handling peppers and do not touch your eyes.

 
Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in small bowl; mix well. Let stand, covered, at room temperature 1 to 2 hours to blend flavors.
