Fruited Berry Square

Makes 4 servings
|1||package (4-serving size) sugar-free berry- or berry-and-fruit-flavored gelatin|
|1||cup sliced frozen strawberries|
|1||cup frozen blueberries|
|2||ounces reduced-fat cream cheese|
|1/4||cup fat-free sour cream|
|1/4||cup fat-free half-and-half|
|2||packets sugar substitute|
|1/4||teaspoon ground cinnamon|
|1/8||teaspoon almond extract|
|Fresh lettuce leaves for garnish (optional)|
|4||whole fresh strawberries (optional)|
- Bring water to a boil in medium saucepan over high heat. Remove from heat. Add gelatin; stir until completely dissolved. Stir in frozen berries.
- Pour gelatin mixture into 8-inch square glass dish or nonstick baking pan.* Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate until firm.
- Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients, except lettuce leaves, in small mixing bowl; whisk until smooth. Cover; refrigerate.
- When gelatin mixture is firm, spoon cream cheese mixture evenly over top. Serve on bed of lettuce leaves and garnish with fanned strawberries, if desired.
