Ginger Tea

INGREDIENTS
| 1 | hand ginger, sliced 1/4-inch thick (about 2 cups) |
| 4 | cups water |
| 2/3 | cup sugar |
PREPARATION:
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Bring to a boil, and simmer gently, stirring, until sugar has dissolved and the ginger flavor is pronounced, about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Strain; serve hot or cold.
