Busy moms on the go can feel at ease with the foods that they feed their kids with a little preparation. In Part One, we discussed the benefits of almond butter and homemade hummus, but there are so many healthy alternatives out there that your kids will love. If your kids don't eat fast food and corn syrup-laced snacks then they won't know what they're missing. Just a little preparation on Sunday and you can serve green snacks all week. Try these easy green snacks:

- Make your own granola bars. This way you know where all your foods are coming from and you know that you're serving your kids only the best. Make sure you buy all organic ingredients and buy local whenever you can to ensure that the ingredients didn't burn tons of fossil fuels to get to you. Also buy ingredients in the bulk bins to avoid tons of wasteful packaging. Try this easy recipe from Planet Green for EasySneaky Chef Grab -n Go Crispy Granola Bars.

- Add homemade granola to a farm fresh parfait. Simply crush your delicious homemade granola and add to Planet Green's homemade yogurt. Top with seasonal organic fruits from the farmers' market and raw organic honey. Skip the packaging and enjoy all of the benefits of high quality yogurt.

- Make your own trail mix and skip on the processed ingredients. It's so easy and making your own means that you can use all green ingredients to power your child up with healthy calories. Again, remember to get the ingredients from the bulk bins whenever possible.
