Baldness can be a sign of high testosterone in men and is nothing to be ashamed of. But most men would prefer not to be bald for mostly aesthetic reasons. Many men spend fortunes on laser surgeries, special shampoos and pills that pregnant women can't touch. People have even gone so far as to put foal urine on their head.

Some of my friends are going bald, and it's a sensitive subject to them. Often, baldness will get mentioned and their faces will go all red. They'll subconsciously touch the spot on their head where there once was hair. It makes me sad.
