INGREDIENTS
| 1 | 97% fat-free reduced-sodium ham steak (about 1 pound) |
| 1 | clove garlic, minced |
| 1/2 | cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth |
| 2 | large peaches, peeled and sliced or 2 cups frozen sliced peaches, thawed |
| 1‑1/2 | teaspoon lemon juice |
| 2 | tablespoons thinly sliced green onions |
PREPARATION:
- Heat large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Place ham in skillet; cook, turning once, about 4 minutes or until well browned on both sides. Remove ham from skillet. Cover loosely with foil to keep warm.
- Add garlic to skillet; cook and stir 30 seconds. Stir in broth. Increase heat to high. Bring to a boil; cook 5 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir in peaches; cook about 2 minutes or until softened. Stir in lemon juice. Transfer mixture to blender or food processor container; blend until coarsely puréed.
- Remove ham from skillet. Cut into 4 pieces. Spoon peach sauce over ham pieces. Sprinkle with green onions.
