Convert Kids to Organic with Simple Taste Test
Have processed foods taken hold of your kids? If you can't convince your kids to make the organic transition, do a taste test. Once your kids find out that organic snacks taste as good as, if not tons better than, your standard over processed snacks, they too will be convinced. Try matching these organic treats against your child's favorite old stand bys:
- If gold fish are a family favorite try Annie's Organic Cheddar Bunnies. They're totally delicious and made with organic cheddar cheese and organic wheat flour. Annie's is passionate about protecting our planet. It offers programs like Annie's Sustainable Agriculture Scholarships to students across the nation.
- Instead of traditional cheese puffs, try Snikiddy Grilled Cheese Puffs. Snikiddy Snacks are certified organic and made without any corn syrup.
- Instead of animal crackers serve your kids Organic Healthy Handfuls Koala Crackers. Sisters Debbie Reynolds and Gwen G. Solberg were tired of having to make their own snacks as a result of a life long allergy Gwen had towards many processed foods. This frustration led to the development of a line of organic, low sodium, low fat, nutritious, great tasting, and convenient snacks.
Quick Tip: Watch out for products that slap on natural or all natural labels as a marketing tool. They are not the same as organic and not necessarily eco-friendly.
