Holiday Appetizer Puffs
Yield: Makes about 1-1/2 dozen appetizers
Ingredients:
1
sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed (half of 17-1/4-ounce package)

2
tablespoons olive or vegetable oil

Toppings: grated Parmesan cheese, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried dill weed, dried basil, paprika, drained capers or pimiento-stuffed green olive slices



Preparation:
1.
Preheat oven to 425°F. Roll out pastry on lightly floured surface into 13-inch square. Cut out shapes with cookie cutters. (Simple shapes work best.) Place on ungreased baking sheets. Brush cutouts lightly with oil; sprinkle with desired topping.

Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until golden. Serve warm or at room temperature.
