Homemade Chocolate Milk

YIELD 4

INGREDIENTS

4 cups milk (whole or 2%)
heaping 2/3 cups mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla
pinch salt

PREPARATION:

  1. Place milk in deep sauce pot. Bring to simmer. Whisk in the chips, whisking until chips have completely melted. Remove from heat, add vanilla and the pinch salt. Strain chocolate milk through fine strainer. Refrigerate until very cold, preferably overnight.
