Honey Bees

INGREDIENTS
| 3/4 | cup shortening |
| 1/2 | cup sugar |
| 1/4 | cup honey |
| 1 | egg |
| 1/2 | teaspoon vanilla |
| 2 | cups all-purpose flour |
| 1/3 | cup cornmeal |
| 1 | teaspoon baking powder |
| 1/2 | teaspoon salt |
| Yellow and black decorating icings or gels, gummy fruit and decors | |
PREPARATION:
- Beat shortening, sugar and honey in large bowl at medium speed of electric mixer until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix until well blended. Combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Add to shortening mixture; mix at low speed until well blended. Shape dough into disc. Wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate 2 hours or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Divide dough into 24 equal sections. Shape each section into oval-shaped ball. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
- Decorate cookies with icings, gummy fruit and decors to resemble honey bees.
