Hot Buttered Cider
Prep and Cook Time: 15 minutes
Yield: Makes 12 servings
Ingredients:
1/3
cup packed brown sugar
1/4
cup butter, softened
1/4
cup honey
1/4
teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4
teaspoon ground nutmeg
Apple cider or juice
Preparation:

Beat brown sugar, butter, honey, cinnamon and nutmeg until well blended and fluffy. Place butter mixture in tightly covered container. Refrigerate up to 2 weeks. Bring butter mixture to room temperature before using.

To serve, heat apple cider in large saucepan over medium heat until hot. Fill individual mugs with hot apple cider; stir in 1 tablespoon butter mixture per 1 cup apple cider. Garnish as desired.
