Hot Pasta with Cool Tomato Salsa

INGREDIENTS
| 1 | package (9 ounces) uncooked refrigerated linguine or fettuccine |
| 1 | tablespoon olive oil |
| 3‑1/2 | cups chopped tomatoes (about 3 large) |
| 1/4 | cup chopped red onion |
| 1/4 | cup loosely packed fresh basil leaves, torn into small pieces |
| 1/2 | teaspoon bottled minced garlic |
| 1/4 | cup fat-free red wine or balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing |
| 1/4 | teaspoon salt |
| 1/8 | teaspoon black pepper |
| 1/4 | cup grated Parmesan cheese |
PREPARATION:
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain; toss with olive oil.
- While pasta is cooking, combine tomatoes, onion, basil and garlic in medium bowl. Add dressing, salt and pepper; toss.
- Top each portion of pasta with tomato salsa and 1 tablespoon cheese.
Hint
Give your salsa extra flavor, color and crunch by adding diced zucchini to the tomato mixture.
